BEN HOGAN'S LEGACY
The Ben Hogan Foundation funds charities and programs that reflect Ben Hogan’s core values: qualities like self-determination, courage, a competitive spirit, integrity and hard work. It supports his passions: golf and its influence on young people, education, and the well-being of children.
“Embracing the legacy of Ben Hogan, our mission is to develop young people and equip them to succeed.”
A LEGACY OF COURAGE. A FOUNDATION OF HOPE.
The Foundation was established in 2007 to ensure that in Ben Hogan’s absence, the characteristics that he personified throughout his life; resilience, courage, determination and perseverance – are recognized, rewarded and encouraged in the young people and veterans of today. We accomplish this work through tournaments, scholarships and programs and with the incredible support of our ongoing partners and sponsors who provide the regular funding that a non-profit needs to maintain daily operations.
We develop young people
We have donated over 3.6 million dollars toward the development of children and young adults and in support of our country’s soldiers and veterans.
Through our partnership with the First Tee – Fort Cavazos, we’ve opened 2 Ben Hogan Learning Centers, supporting the growth and development of over 100,000 kids.
Established in 2007, we’ve built and managed many successful programs and events that grow our impact and strengthen our mission.
We have awarded over 100 scholarships to students who embody perseverance in the face of adversity, student golfers who demonstrate educational excellence and Ace Level First Tee Participants who have developed.
We’ve treated 2,000 active duty soldiers to a day of golf, swag, and awards at our Ben Hogan Classic at Fort Cavazos (Formerly Fort Hood).
We’re proud to have established and maintained incredible relationships with both national and local partners like PepsiCo, Tito’s, Shady Oaks Country Club, The First Tee – Fort Cavazos and more – without whose sponsorship we could not do the important work we do.
