BEN HOGAN CLASSIC
AT FORT CAVAZOS (Formerly Fort Hood)

After winning 15 tournaments in less than three years, Ben Hogan left the PGA Tour and joined the Army Air Corps in 1942 to proudly serve his country. Mr. Hogan had deep respect and reverence for those who serve this nation so bravely. It is in the spirit of that respect that we created the Ben Hogan Classic at Fort Cavazos (Formerly Fort Hood). Our mission with the Classic is to first; give 200 active duty soldiers a premiere golf tournament experience and a bunch of terrific swag donated by our generous partners and sponsors as a show of our appreciation for their selfless service. And second; to also give their families a well-deserved day of food, fun, and recreation with activities like our Youth Clinic held in collaboration with our friends at the First Tee of Fort Worth!
