Lisa Scott is Ben Hogan’s great niece, manager of Hogan Licensing, the principal family member responsible for the Ben Hogan estate and the Founder of The Ben Hogan Foundation. Following the deaths of Ben and Valerie Hogan, Scott made significant contributions of Hogan memorabilia to the World Golf Hall of Fame, the United States Golf Association, and numerous other organizations and institutions involved in preserving the legacy of Ben Hogan and furthering the game of golf. Michael J. Moncrief is a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. He was first elected as mayor on May 3, 2003, serving Fort Worth and Tarrant County until July 12, 2011. First Lady Rosie Moncrief and Mayor Moncrief served on the Host Committee for Super Bowl XLV. Vital partnerships were established by them with Fort Worth key leaders to host ESPN during the biggest weekend in American sports. In 2011, Fort Worth was named one of the National Civic League’s All-America Cities and it remains in the nation’s top 10 safest cities among the fastest-growing major cities in America. began when he was elected into the Texas House of Representatives in 1971. After two years service in the House of Representatives, he was elected as Tarrant County Judge in 1974, where he served for 12 years representing the county. Elected to the Texas State Senate in 1991, he served twelve years. In 2001, then Senator Moncrief was appointed President Pro Tempore of the Texas Senate. Within this capacity, he presided over the affairs of Texas as Governor, with the responsibility to make critical decisions, when the Governor and Lieutenant Governor were out of state.

A graduate of Tarleton State University, Moncrief served as president of the student body and was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He is past president of the Tarleton Alumni Association and was honored as a distinguished alumnus. Returning to civilian life after retiring as Mayor of Fort Worth, Moncrief is overseeing his oil and gas business, investments and properties, and spending time with family. He and his wife, Rosie, have two sons, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Fred Reynolds

FRED REYNOLDS

Fred N. Reynolds is owner of Fred S. Reynolds & Associates, a petroleum engineering consulting firm, formed in 1983 by Fred and his father, Fred S. Reynolds.  Fred graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.  He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.  Fred started his career with Chevron USA in 1980 as a drilling and completion engineer in Colorado.  In 1981 he was hired as Engineering

Manager for Equity Oil Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fred moved back to Fort Worth in 1983 to join his father in the consulting business where Fred and his father worked together until his father’s passing in 2001. Fred has served on the board of the Fort Worth Oil Information Library and the First Tee of Fort Worth. At the First Tee he served as President of the Board for two years. In addition, Fred has served on the Board of Shady Oaks Country Club and as the President of the Board in 2016 and 2017. In 1973 thru 1975 while in high school, Fred worked as a bag boy and caddy at Shady Oaks Country Club and was fortunate to caddy for Mr. Hogan during his three years working at Shady Oaks.

Donna Bonk

DONNA BONK

Donna, who has lived in Michigan since 1977, was elected to the BHF BOD in May of 2019. She and her husband have been members at Oakland Hills Country Club since 1990, where Mr. Hogan won the 1951 U.S. Open. Over the years, she has worked or chaired various tournament committees at OHCC for both the USGA (1991 Senior US Open, 1996 US Open, and 2002/2016 US Amateur) and the PGA (2004 Ryder Cup, 2008 PGA Championship). Her association with the foundation began in 2016, when she chaired an Oakland Hills Centennial event, the “Monster ’51”, benefitting both the

BHF and the Oakland Hills Scholarship trust. Since that time, Donna has traveled numerous times to Texas annually to volunteer at the Fort Cavazos/Ben Hogan Classic as well as participate in the BHF Invitational at Shady Oaks.

A native Hoosier, after graduating from Indiana University and relocating to Michigan, Donna worked at the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital as a respiratory therapist. Additionally, over the years, her husband’s auto industry job has taken them to many international destinations to live (Germany/China/Thailand) where she immersed herself in the local culture and joined the various Women’s Clubs that were available. So much so that in 2007 she was a walking scorer for the HSBC Championship in Shanghai.

Donna and her husband reside in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Their only child, Stephanie, is married and resides in nearby Birmingham, Michigan. Looking ahead, their retirement goal is to spend all of their free time in Fort Worth.

Bud is the owner of 777 Oil Company, a family oil and gas exploration company. He has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and remains diverse in numerous other business investments including real estate and innovative technology. He has been an active member of Shady Oaks Country Club for 34 years. He served several years on both the strategic planning committee and the finance committee as well as serving on the 2008 US Senior Amateur planning committee. A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. Garsek attended Washington University in St. Louis, and attended law school at Southern Methodist University as the Ginsburg Scholar, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1974. He is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and he is a Sustaining Life Fellow with the Texas Bar Foundation. Mr. Garsek is married to Patty, his bride of over 50 years; they are proud parents of two sons, Zach and Kevin and two daughters-in-law, Noelle and Tamara, and proud grandparents of four grandchildren, Reid, Melvin, Claire and Sadye, all of whom live in Fort Worth.

Retired Ben Hogan Foundation CEO Robert Stennett brilliantly blazed the trail for The Ben Hogan Foundation for 15 years, making the foundation the success story that it is today. Prior to joining the foundation he was a business leader in the aerospace industry for nearly a quarter of a century. A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Stennett holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and a Masters in Business Administration in Management from Louisiana Tech University. Stennett has accomplished post-graduate work and facilitated industry and

academic partnerships in the areas of supply chain management, operations research, and strategic planning with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Clarkson University in Pottsdam, NY, and the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. As a member of Shady Oaks Country Club since 1984 and a dependent member before that, he had the opportunity to observe Hogan for almost two decades before the legendary golfer passed away in 1997. Stennett served on the Board of Governors at Shady Oaks Country Club from 2001 to 2007 and from 2009 to 2011 serving as president of the club in his last year on Board. He is a member of the Devlin Foundation and serves on the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation’s scholarship selection committee.

As a Fort Worth native, Judd sees Ben Hogan as representing the best parts of golf and Fort Worth – hard work, diligence and respect. Judd is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Texas Austin School of Law. While at Princeton, Judd was the captain of the Princeton University Golf Team, which won the 2000 Ivy League Conference Championship. Judd was also the 1997 Individual Ivy League Golf Champion. Judd lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Jacque, their two children, Jack Hudson and Lucy, and their black lab, Zoey.

Josephina Gregory-Stankiewicz

JOSEPHINA GREGORY-STANKIEWICZ

Josephina Gregory-Stankiewicz was born and raised in Germany until the age of fourteen when her family moved to England. As a young teenager she underwent corrective surgery on her legs and was told that she would need to seek out a low impact sport to avoid any future complications. It was at this time that her coach Kevin Merry introduced her to Ben Hogan and his story of perseverance in the face of injury. At sixteen she moved to Spain to attend a four-month intensive Golf Academy. At seventeen, she moved to the United States to play College Golf while earning her

Prior to joining The Ben Hogan Foundation Josie worked as an assistant golf professional at Palmira Country Club in Bonita Springs, as an assistant golf professional and merchandising liaison at Shady Oaks Country Club, and most recently held the position of their Merchandising Liaison and Director of Social Media.
